Our first product is BidEdge — a tool for construction estimators bidding on public works contracts. It reads historical bid data from public lettings (IDOT, municipalities, state DOTs) and suggests comparable prices line by line, so an estimator can rough-in the bulk of a bid faster, then plug in their own numbers where judgment matters.
Today's prediction engine covers water main, sewer, and roadway items priced per-unit (per foot, per each, per square yard). Lump-sum items like mobilization and traffic control are handled separately, with per-agency caps that reflect how those line items are actually priced.
Estimators at small-to-mid-sized contractors who bid municipal and DOT water main, sewer, and roadway projects — folks who already bid these jobs by hand or with a spreadsheet template. BidEdge speeds up the rough-in; it doesn't replace the estimator's judgment.
